Havoc in the Paddock - 01/11/25

And there you have it - the final Walsh's Autos Cairns Speedway event for the 2025 season. From now on, things are going to get a lot wetter and hotter (it was 27C at 8.30pm...) and that's more than enough!

Lots of fun races; three of the Junior Sedan drivers having their final run in Cairns as they will now be too old for the class; a $1000 challenge for the field to be inverted for the Sprintcar Feature event; a tribute to "Chook" Pollock, who unfortunately passed away not long before the meeting; presentations on track and in the pits; and of course fireworks to finish it all off in style.

Thank you to everyone who made this season happen, and those involved in upgrading the precinct and the racing. Even more good things planned for Season 2026. See you there!
